Hotel going through upgrade.

Once the upgrade is complete, this hotel would rise to at least 4 stars. 1/2 star off right now due to construction and aged condition of rooms. Hotel staff was very professional and accommodating. They were friendly made us feel welcome. Whenever approached, no matter the request/question. The location was great, just a little hard to find. The room was large and well laid out, the view was amazing.

Difficult to go back and forth during the day if you are visiting Manhattan

The location was very convenient to NYC via NJ transit bus system .

If in a hurry, would not suggest the hotel restaurant, though the food was of a high quality.

As an older daughter and mother visiting NYC for the first time the staff was friendly and helpful in deciding whether to take the bus or ferry. It was very easy to get into central NYC on the bus right by the hotel. It was also easy to get back to the hotel, even after a Broadway show. Would highly recommend the hotel for convenience and beautiful views on location. It was also convenient to have a CVS right by the hotel, and a food court. Overall, excellent value. ...read more
